In Remembrance of Princess Diana

I am deeply saddened by the recent deaths of Princess Diana, the man with whom she seemed to have finally found some happiness, Dodi Fayed, and their driver. Although the latest news states that the driver was legally drunk at the time of the accident, I still feel the the chase by the Paparazzi was a contributing factor in the terrible crash that ended their lives.

The public must accept some responsibility as well. Were it not for the public's demand for the kinds of pictures that the papparazi is willing to hound celebrities for, this may not have happened. Although I don't think I have any pictures of that nature on my pages, I will *never* use them on my pages. We can all help by boycotting the tabloids. It is one thing to have an interest in a celebrity. But it is quite another to have that celebrity hunted like an animal so that their every private moment is unwillingly revealed to the public. Celebrities are people just like you and me. Let us not forget that.

But let us honor her life. As she said in an interview with the BBC "I can give love". Her recent work with charities was a tribute to that. She gave love, compassion and kindness wherever she went. Let us honor her life by doing what we can, wherever we go, to simply give love. If those of us who will miss her will all make an effort to do that, perhaps her death will not have been in vain.

Diana, rest in peace....we will miss you.
